January

21st - The First shanty session of 2020 will take place on Tuesday 21st January at Ye Olde House at Home, Broadwater Green. Arrive around 7.30pm grab yourself a drink, chair and a chat ready to commence singing at 8pm prompt. Friends, family and new singers welcome. Please note we will be using this session to prepare for Concert on 25th.


25th - Free Sea Shanty Concert featuring The Wellington Wailers, Secret Shore Singers and The Duck Pond Sailors on Saturday 25 January, Its a ‘lunchtime concert’ stating at 1130. This wonderful and unique event will take place inside this lovely church and will feature three singings groups from Sussex performing together for the very first time! It will be a wonderful event for all the family. It will give you an opportunity to donate to the RNLI Lifeboat at Shoreham and 'Olly’s Future' – Supporting suicide prevention and support. Teas and coffees are also available from the church. Arrive early as seating is limited! After the formal Concert a more informal Sea Shanty Sing Out will take place at The Duke of Wellington, Brighton Road Shoreham. From 1330 – 1600!  Make a day of it!  Great fun and all for very good causes! See you there!

February

The February shanty session will be on Tuesday 11th February at Ye Olde House at Home, Broadwater Green. Arrive around 7.30pm grab yourself a drink, chair and a chat ready to commence singing at 8pm prompt. Friends, family and new singers welcome.

March
1st March - Worthing Oranges and Lemons Flingathon on Worthing Seafront. Secret Shore will be performing between1pm and 2pm on the Seafront near to Thorn Road. Secret Shore will be joined by Sompting Village Morris and provide a combined singing and dancing hour provide to the event commencing. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Ollys Future, a local charity group supporting suicide awareness training to schooling and education groups.

24th - March shanty session will be on Tuesday 24 March at Ye Olde House at Home, Broadwater Green. Arrive around 7.30pm grab yourself a drink, chair and a chat ready to commence singing at 8pm prompt. Friends, family and new singers welcome.
